How do you answer a Comelit intercom? ›

Upon receiving a call from an intercom entrance panel a ring tone will be emitted from the apartment monitor and a video image will automatically appear. You may answer the call by pressing the Answer Key “1”.

Press and hold the Reset button with a straightened paperclip while reconnecting the power.

When an intercom call is received, you can see a message that shows a person is whispering to you. At the same time, an audible alert indicates that the intercom call begins. Your phone automatically answers the intercom call with the microphone muted (whisper mode).

Loose or Bad Wiring

A loose wire in an intercom system can lead to communication breakdowns or even cause the system to go haywire. Worn-out wires or improper installation can result in poor connections or electrical hazards. To address these issues, inspect the wiring connections and tighten any loose ends.

Go to https://app.intercom.com/admins/sign_in and follow the password reset flow by clicking the "Forgot your password?" link to get back into that account in Intercom. Once you are inside, go to Your account > Your details > Email Address and change that email to something different.

A visitor presses the correct button for the apartment they want to speak to, and the tenant can speak back and then press a button to unlock the door. There are two-way radios that communicate with base station intercoms.

A visitor can come up to the entry system at the main building entrance, select an entry and call a tenant. This sends a buzzer signal to the resident inside the apartment. The resident can pick up the call using an audio phone call, or a video call using a video intercom mobile app.

Phone calls let you contact a customer on their saved number, while Messenger voice and video calls allow you to connect with customers directly through the Messenger, and enable screen sharing. After you've set up Intercom Phone, all teammates can make a call. There are no set permissions for this feature.

Get started. Navigate to Settings > Help Desk > Automatic away mode to set the inactivity thresholds for transitioning teammates to either away or away & reassigning. These thresholds will apply to all teammates in the workspace, and are not configurable for individual teams or teammates.
